Casa Morera

Casa Morera (Mulberry House) is part of the original farmhouse, sympathetically converted into
spacious two-bedroom accommodation. During the renovation, we took great care to preserve the rustic
style of building, traditional to Andalucia. This four-person house has high-beamed ceilings to
help maintain coolness in summer and a wood burning stove for warmth and cosiness during the winter
months. There is a spacious, combined living room/kitchen with old clay-tiled floors.

The
kitchen is fully equipped and has a rustic wooden table and
chairs, French dresser and tiled work surfaces. From the window, you can look out over the large
stone-paved patio, to the flower-filled garden, mulberry tree and towards one of the farm's wells.
The living room area is spacious with a comfortable sofa, coffee table, chairs and wood-burning stove.
One of the living room windows overlooks the central courtyard giving you views of a mass of colourful
and scented plants.

The master
bedroom has a wooden double bed, built-in wardrobe, chest
of drawers and bedside table.
The second bedroom is furnished similarly but with two single beds. Alternatively, one of the single beds can be replaced
with a bunk bed to sleep a third person. The splendid view from the bedrooms is across the meadow to the town of Jimena de
la Frontera and its hilltop castle.
The bathroom is tiled in the traditional blue and white tiles and has a full-length bath, washbasin
and toilet.

The large garden has a dry stone wall running round it, enclosing a sunken stone-paved patio with an
old Moorish bread oven, a barbecue, outside furniture and a large lawn and flower garden.
Our large
swimming pool, which is for the use of all guests, is set in beautiful surroundings and is approached from a rustic footbridge over
a stream
